SOUTH AMBOY – The Sacred Heart Council of Catholic Women in conjunction with New Jersey Blood Services will host a “Blood Drive” at the Sacred Heart school cafeteria located behind the convent on Walnut Street in South Amboy on Sunday, February 12, 2012 from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m..
Please note: there will not be any machines for the collection of platelets, however there will be “ALYX,” an automated red blood cell collection system which allows you to donate two units of critically needed red cells in just one visit saving two lives each time.
