PERTH AMBOY – On February 22, 2012 an agreement was signed by the Perth Amboy Redevelopment Agency approving Viridian Partners, a Brownfield Development Company as a developer for the e-port site. The prime 100+ acre site is bound by the Arthur Kill, Crane Creek, 440 Bridge and the High Street Extention. Viridian made an approximantly a $90 million investment and will begin Phase I with its nearly 18 month remediation process. The Construction of 3 buildings for logistical such as fabrication and warehouse distribution and office space and light manufactoring will be included in Phase II. — Photo of Illustration by Paul W.
