MCC Offering Free Training

EDISON – Middlesex County College is offering 288 hours of classroom and laboratory instruction to be delivered over 12 weeks. Students will attend class 24 hours per week plus participate in 6 – 10 on-site visits to participating NJBIA Manufacturing Network employers. The following employers have agreed to host site visits: Air Crusisers; Arrow Shed, LLC; Falstrom Company; Gerber Metal Supply Company; Kreisler Manufacturing Corporation; National Manufacturing Company; Power Magnetics; Unex; and Weiss-Aug Company, Inc.

The following employers have indicated that at this time they would be interested in hiring program graduates: Arrow Shed, LLC; Durex, Inc.; Falstrom Company; Gaum, Inc.; Gerber Metal Supply Company; Kreisler Manufacturing Corporation; Lee Linear; Micro Stamping Corporation; National Manufacturing Company; and Weiss-Aug Company, Inc.

We are recruiting candidates that are interested in entering the field of metal fabrication. There is an opportunity for them to take advantage of free training.

All candidates must be prescreened by the NJ Department of Labor and Workforce Development. An information session for the program will take place on March 13th at the Middlesex County College Edison campus.
