March 29 — Music on Main Street – There will be a concert of Fred Tackett & Paul Barrere on Thursday, March 29 at 7:30 p.m. at the Methodist Church, 69 Main Street, Woodbridge.  The guitarists of Little Feat playing the music of Little Feat & more.  Tickets: $30 advance $35 at door.

March 29 from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.—EDISON – There will be a free breakfast at the Pines Manor, 2085 State Rt. 27, Edison on Thursday, March 29 from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Enjoy a full Breakfast. Free will offering. Your donations will benefit battered women. RSVP ASAP Charisse 732-271-3450.

March 30 — Easter Bake Sale— PERTH AMBOY – St. John the Baptist Church is having an Easter Bake Sale. All Orders must be placed no later than Friday, March 30.  Call 732-826-7067 between  9 a.m. and 1 p.m. to place your order.  All Items are Handmade.  Cake – poppy seed, nut, apricot, raspberry and prune – $10.  Pick-up dates are Tuesday, April 3 thru Thursday, April 5.  Orders can be picked up at 404 Division St., Perth Amboy – Thank you for your order!

March 31 — Pictures with the Easter Bunny – There will be pictures with the Easter Bunny on Saturday, March 31 at Parker Press Park, 400 Rahway Ave., Woodbridge from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Sponsored by Walgreens.  Please bring a non-perishable food item to be donated to the local pantry. April 1 — Easter Bonnet Parade – The 9th Annual Easter Bonnet Parade, Mini Easter Egg Hunt & Much More  will be on Sunday, April 1 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Colonia Middle School, 100 Delaware Ave.,  Colonia.  $5 Donation per child.  Adults Free.  Join us for an afternoon of family fun.  Activities begin at 1 p.m. Parade begins at 2:30 p.m.  Prizes will be awarded for the funniest, most creative and best looking bonnet or hat.  Vendors needed $20 donation per table.  All proceeds will be used to build a gazebo to be placed in  Charlie Shaughnessy Park in memory of LCP Kevin Reinhard of Colonia, who lost his life while serving our country in Afghanistan.

Civil War Round Table – The next meeting of the Robert E. Lee Civil War Round Table of Central New Jersey will be held on at 7 p.m. in the Woodbridge Public Library, George Frederick Plaza, Woodbridge.   All are welcome! The upcoming speaker schedule is:

April 1 — Easter Bone Hunt – There will be a Easter Bone Hunt for your family and pets on Sunday, April 1 from 11 am. to 2 p.m at Parker Press Grounds, Rahway Ave., Woodbridge.   Bring your leashed dogs to hunt for the yummy, holistic Easter bones!  Enter contests, win prizes and meet some of the adoptable pets from the Woodbridge Animal Shelter and Pet Adoption Center.  Contest and prizes for best Easter Outfit, Best Kisser, and best trick (dogs of course)!  Free to the public.

April 4 — Motivational Seminar – There will be a seminar, Motivating & Managing Your Employees on Wednesday, April 4 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.  The event is presented by Dominck Bratti, Esq., shareholder of Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer and Milton J. Paris, President of Getting Ahead in Business.  RSVP by Thursday, March 29 for this complimentary breakfast seminar.

April 6— Easter Egg Hunt – There will be an Easter Egg Hunt on Friday, April 6 at Parker Press Park, 400 Rahway Ave., Woodbridge from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.  Come get your eggs – where will they be hidden? April 7 — Easter Parade – There will be an Easter Parade on Saturday, April 7 at Parker Press Park, 400 Rahway Ave., Woodbridge at 1 p.m.  Prizes will be given.  Please bring a non-perishable food item to be donated to the local pantry.  For more info call 732-596-4048.

April 22 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.— Bridal Show—There will be the Woodbridge Chamber of Commerce Bridal Showcase on Sunday April 22 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Renaissance Woodbridge Hotel, 515 US. Highway 1 South Iselin NJ. ADDMISSION IS FREE. Brides, grooms, families are all welcome. May 20 —Grand Debutant Cotillion 2012 — ISELIN – The Multicultural Grand Cotillion Scholarship Society invites Senior Debutantes & Senior Escorts, Ages 15-17, Junior Debutantes & Junior Escorts, Ages 11-14, Flowers & Pages, Ages 5-10 to participate in the Grand Debutant Cotillion 2012 on Sunday, May 20 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Renaissance Woodbridge Hotel, 515 US Highway One South, Iselin.  Registration is at the Puerto Rican Association Building (PRAHD), 100 First St, Perth Amboy.  There will be a 12 week dance rehearsal from Feb 4 to April 28.  Workshops to be held in March.  A non-refundable $60 registration fee is due.For more info call Barbara Walker at 732-277-9576 or email mgcotillion@graduate.org.

May 2oth — Dog Walk & Pet Fair  –  The Woodbridge Animal Shelter is sponsoring the 5th Annual Dog Walk & Pet Fair on Sunday, May 20 Registration starts at 10 a.m. Rain or Shine!  All leashed pets welcome! Walk Starts 11 a.m.  Walk starts at Alvin P. Williams Park, Cliff Road, Sewaren and ends at the Woodbridge Animal Shelter, 195 Woodbridge Ave., Woodbridge.  There will be raffles, food, vendors, dog contests, live music.  Meet adoptable animals and more!   For more info email krisehlers@comcast.net.  All proceeds benefit the Woodbridge Township Animal Shelter and Pet Adoption Center.
