Healthy Kids Day®—April 28

SOUTH AMBOY – On April 28, the South Amboy Branch YMCA is celebrating Healthy Kids Day® with a free community event for kids and families in South Amboy and Sayreville. More than 1,900 Ys across the country are taking part in the celebration, meant to kick start physical activity and learning throughout the summer – a critical out-of-school time for kids.

The event takes place at 200 John T. O’Leary Blvd in South Amboy from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and will feature activities such as Family Swim, a Camp S.A.Y. Open House, Soccer Demonstrations by Challenger Sports, Summer Safety 101, and much more. Representatives from Raritan Bay Medical Center, as well as the South Amboy Community Garden Club who will be kicking off their new vegetable garden here at the Y.

Nationally, Healthy Kids Day is supported by the Dodge brand.
