Vietnam Era Museum & Educational Center
HOLMDEL – Wednesday, July 18, 2012 – 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Teaching the Vietnam Era Across the Curriculum Teaching the Vietnam Era is not just reserved for history classrooms! Using a cross-curricular approach, lessons can be incorporated in many subjects including art, history, math, language arts and science. Through example lesson plans and hands-on activities, educators will learn how they can utilize these methods into their classrooms. Space is limited! Pre-registration required by July 9.
Sunday October 7 – 2nd Annual NJ Vietnam Veterans’ Memorial Ride Sunday October 7,2012 Registration 9:30 a.m. -11:a.m. The American Legion Riders will sponsor a motorcycle run to benefit the New Jersey Vietnam Veterans’ Memorial and the Vietnam Era Museum & Educational Center.

Saturday June 2 – 1 p.m. – The Other Side of War Lecture and Slide show NJ Vietnam Veteran and acclaimed musician Billy Terrell will share stories about his work with a Vietnamese orphanage in Mang Lang and the journey that reunited three friends, 44 years later, as part of the upcoming documentary with the same title.
