Jewish Renaissance Foundation, In Conjunction With The City Of Perth Amboy, Creates The Cortlandt Street Fire Fund

PERTH AMBOY — The Jewish Renaissance Foundation (“JRF”), in collaboration with the City of Perth Amboy, will serve as a central collection point for monetary donations for the victims of the Cortlandt Street Fire starting Monday, June 4. Monetary donations can be made as follows: Checks or Money Orders should be made out to: JRF-Cortlandt St. Fire Fund

They can be delivered or mailed to The Jewish Renaissance Foundation, Attn: Cortlandt Street Fire Fund, 149 Kearny Avenue, Perth Amboy, NJ 08861

Gift Cards (i.e., Shop Rite, Walmart, etc.) can be delivered or mailed to: The Jewish Renaissance Foundation, Attn: Cortlandt Street Fire Fund, 149 Kearny Avenue, Perth Amboy, NJ 08861.

An intense fire on Cortlandt Street in Perth Amboy left 47 people (12 families and 10 children) homeless in the early morning of June 3rd. Organizations, throughout the City, are coming together to aid the fire victims. The City of Perth Amboy, and the Jewish Renaissance Foundation have collaborated to create the Cortlandt Street Fire Fund to collect and distribute monetary donations to the effected families.

Please note that due to the lack of storage capacity, the JRF and the City of Perth Amboy have decided to collect only monetary donations at this time.
