On July 2nd a mass was held at the Knights of Columbus hall in Perth Amboy. The mass was in observance of the Fortnight for Religious Liberty at part of the “Fortnight for Freedom” called for by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops.

Celebrating the mass was Msgr. John Gordon and Rev. Michael Krull. Assisting in the mass were deacons Joe Mar, Enrique Garcia, Noe Cortez and Father Nicolas Norena.

The mass was followed by a procession of 50 faithful from the Knights of Columbus hall to the Bill of Rights Arch at city hall circle. Msgr. Gordon led the procession with the singing of “God Bless America”. Once at the arch everyone joined in prayer.
