Police Arrest Three In An Attempt To Obtain $60,000 From Bank

PERTH AMBOY – On Friday, 10 August 2012 at 12:14 pm police were dispatched to 313 State Street, Capita One Bank on a report of forgery. A female later identified as Tiffany Michelle Quinland, age 19 of Springfield Gardens, NY attempted to withdrawal $60,000 from the bank under an assumed name.  After an investigation lead by Lieutenant Lawrence Cattano and Police Officer John Wonski three suspects were arrested. Tiffany was posing as the victim while two others defendants were waiting in a get-away-car.  All three were arrested and taken into custody.

Arrested were Tiffany Michelle Quinland, age 19 of 145th Avenue, Springfield Gardens, NY. She was charged with Forgery, Wrongful Impersonation, and Conspiracy to Commit Fraud. William Nelson, age 20 of 147 Drive 34, Rosedale, NY was charged with Forgery, Forgery Simulated Driver’s License, and Conspiracy. Jhamari Dyer-Wingate, age 21 of 107TH Street, East Elmhurst, NY, was charged with Conspiracy.

Bail was set by the Honorable Judge Maria Del Valle-Koch at 15,000 with no 10% option for all three defendants.
