COMMUNITY VOICE: Transit Village or Transit Dump

Garbage off of Washington Street. *Photo by Alan Silber

These pictures taken by the freight tracks that cross Washington Street and by the commuter tracks that go underneath Washington Street. While Wilda fiddles with press releases, these photos depict our quality of life issues that the Mayor fails to appreciate or even recognize the significance and magnitude of the problem. The photos taken were easily visible from the sidewalk.

How long do you think it has been like this? Are we sacrificing services and quality of life while Wilda Diaz has an entourage of city employees, whose salaries are paid by taxpayers’ hard-earned and scarce dollars, working full time to elect their BOSS? Will we be seeing ELECT WILDA DIAZ signs next to these sites?
