PERTH AMBOY – In the October 24, 2012 issue of the Amboy Guardian, on Page 2 in the continuation of the story about the Perth Amboy Mayoral Debate, there was a statement that was incorrectly quoted as saying : “vote for who you want to win based on a candidate’s views”. What Hubberman actually said was, “Nonpartisan means you the people get to select a candidate based upon their views on the issues,” she said. “It’s not about personal politics. It’s not about political agenda. Being nonpartisan enables a candidate to really reach out to you the people and listen intently as to what solution we have for you. In preserving the spirit in which this town was founded, I embrace that it is a nonpartisan town.”
The Amboy Guardian regrets this error.

PERTH AMBOY – In the October 24, 2012 issue of the Amboy Guardian, on Page 2 in the continuation of the story about the Perth Amboy Mayoral Debate, there was a statement made that was attributed to the wrong candidate. In the last paragraph, the sentence that said, “With all do respect but you are not a full time Mayor – the Business Administrator is,” was attributed to Billy Delgado. It was actually Mayoral Candidate Miguel Morales who made that statement.
