Hurricane Sandy Hits East Coast—PERTH AMBOY — Hurricane Sandy hits east coast. The photos below were taken by Staff Photographer Paul W. Wang of Perth Amboy’s Waterfront area and Downtown during the Hurricane on Monday, October 29.

The Hurricane struck the east coast on Sunday evening causing flooding  and damage. Some of the Waterfront Area, 44 High Builing and 57 Water Street needed to be evacuated. Shull School and McGinnis Schools were slated as shelters. A State of Emergency was declared in Perth Amboy.
