Something has to be done for the safety of our sanitation men when they are collecting regular garbage and/or recyclables. When loading the truck, the men have to back and forth to put the container back on the resident’s curb. When the cars see a garbage truck, they speed up to go around so they won’t be stopped behind the truck.

Let’s get some rules and regulations to protect these dedicated employees. They do a great job of getting it done. Now, in addition to getting their job done, they have to be concerned about these inconsiderate drivers who do not slow down when they see a sanitation truck.
