PERTH AMBOY— A Business Recovery Forum to be held on Thursday, December 6 at 10:00 a.m. in an effort to assist businesses impacted by Superstorm Sandy.
The program will include representatives from FEMA, SBA, UEZ Authority and the local BID and is open to all Perth Amboy businesses.
“Since the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, Perth Amboy has been working with residents and property owners seeking recovery resources. We know that many businesses suffered financial, physical and inventory losses due to the storm and we need to address these concerns,” said Mayor Diaz.
“The City of Perth Amboy Business Improvement District is offering special “Facade Grants up to $5,000” to businesses that lost signs, awnings and storefronts that were damaged by the storm,” said Barry Rosengarten, Chairman of the UEZ and BID Programs. “To receive this benefit, businesses need to be located in the BID area. For eligibility criteria, please call BID Manager Roxana Troche at (732) 442-6421,” Rosengarten added.
