Superintendent’s Report

Dr. Janine Walker-Caffrey

PERTH AMBOY — “The District is right on tract for teachers’ evaluations,” stated Dr. Janine Waker Caffrey. She presented a graphic presentation highlighting the reading achievement scores for the McGinnis and Shull Schools. The Shull School especially showed improvement in reading achievement. According to the chart an incline from 4.5 to 6.2 indicated a vast improvement from September 2012 to January 2013.

Representatives from the North Brunswick School District visited our schools and were impressed with our physics program. “We send too many students to out of school districts. Any out of district schools not meeting our requirements (especially those students with mental issues) were dropped. This will save our district over a half million dollars.”
