Correction & Thank You’s

In the 1/30/13 issue of the Amboy Guardian, I stated that Jack M. Dudas, the Registered Agent for the Kearny Cottage Historical Society that it was Mr. Dudas’ position to fill out paperwork that came to him. After being advised that this is not so, I would like to apologize to Mr. Dudas. It is his not his responsibility to fill out paperwork. He forwarded the papers to the existing President of the Cottage which was his duty as registered agent. I, as a new President, was not completely aware of the duties of a registered agent.

I would like to thank my existing Board of the Kearny Cottage for their support in several of the Cottage’s projects. As far as the porch and roof went, the completion of the repairs is not just one person’s effort. It’s everyone who contributed to the Cottage. I would like to thank the people that did their part. It needs to be said when you belong to an organization, it’s not about the individual, it’s about teamwork.

A special thanks to Mr. Jack M. Dudas, esq. for all his work with the Kearny Cottage such as getting the 501c -3 for the Cottage that was done in the ‘70’s and for all his efforts with the Cottage that I haven’t been aware of that may have gone unnoticed.

Paul W. Wang

President of the Kearny

Cottage Historical Society
