PAHS Girls Basketball Team Loses in Second Round of the County Tournament

Amboy Competes in State Tournament Monday, Feb. 25, Perth  Amboy High School

PERTH AMBOY/EDISON — The first round of the Greater Middlesex Conference (GMC) County Tournament for Girls Basketball took place at Perth Amboy High School. The (#2 seeded) Perth Amboy Panthers hosted the (#15 seeded) Monroe Falcons. Perth Amboy went ahead from the start. By the end of the second period it was Perth Amboy 33, Monroe 16. In the second half of the game Perth Amboy dominated their opponent. The final score was Perth Amboy 53, Monroe 35.

The Perth Amboy High School Girls Basketball Team lost in the second round of the County Tournament to the Piscataway Chiefs. The game was hosted by Middlesex County College. The final score was Piscataway 44, Perth Amboy 39. For the Panthers, Bianca Feliciano 9 pts, 4 steals. Kenya Adams 8 pts. 5 rebounds, 3 steals. Janaysia James 7 pts, 6 rebounds, 1 steal. Nadirah Wilson 2 pts, 7 rebounds 3 asst, 3 steals. Kayalana Ricks 3 pts., 2  rebounds, 1 asst. Gissel Santana 5 pts., Wanda Forbes 6 rebounds, Kristina Clark 5 pts, 7 rebounds 1 asst.

The Panthers will compete in the State Tournament on Monday, February 25 in Perth Amboy High School at 6 p.m.
