PERTH AMBOY – The Following Vacancies Currently Exist For The Following City Boards: Board of Adjustment 1 Regular Positions, 2 Alternate Positions; Planning Board 1 (Class II) Position, 2 Alternate Positions ; Rent Levelling Board 2 Regular Positions, Business Improvement District 2 Regular Positions.

Some key responsibilities include: consistent attendance at regular board meetings; participation at the meetings as an active member, participation in the general activities of the organization and preparation in advance before regular board meetings by reading and studying materials regarding key actions the board may take at the official meeting.

Please be advised that these are strictly voluntary positions. Residents interested in becoming members of a specific board must complete and return the Citizen Service Application to the Office of the Municipal Clerk, City Hall, 260 High Street, Perth Amboy. The application is available on the city’s website: www.ci.perthamboy.nj.us.
