Inspirations Art Show — April 18

PERTH AMBOY — Art aficionados and community members looking to enjoy a fun night out in support of a great cause will want to attend Raritan Bay Medical Center Foundation’s 16th Annual Art Show “Inspirations: A Celebration of Art and Spring” Thursday, April 18, 6 to 8 p.m., at Raritan Bay Medical Center, 530 New Brunswick Ave, Perth Amboy, NJ. Photographic artist and advertising and marketing professional EJ Davis, of Chatham, NJ will be the distinguished honoree at the event.

This chic evening includes a wine tasting, passed hors d’oeuvres, unique art available for purchase, live music by the Victor Quezada Jazz Trio and more. Featured art includes; painting, photography, mixed media pieces, painted glassware, pottery, jewelry and scarves. Tickets cost $50 per person and raffle tickets are available for $10 each. To purchase event tickets, raffle tickets or an event sponsorship, contact the Foundation at 732-324-5374. Proceeds from the event benefit the Wilentz Patient Care Center at the medical center. Raffle winners need not be present to win.

Artists include: EJ Davis of Chatham, Amy Brooks of Metuchen, Connie Elek of Sewaren, Cabbar Komek of Perth Amboy, Jorge Lindo of Rahway, JoAnn Holmstrom-Boulton of Parlin, Michele Mastrangelo of Fords, Lauren McKenna of Old Bridge, Paul Moran of Woodbridge, Jodi-Ann Mullaney of Hightstown, Nick Palmieri, Denise Reisert of Aberdeen, Sand’s Stones, Susan Schaffer of Bethlehem, PA, Margaret Smolarski of Sayreville, Jennifer Suralik-Quintenz, Linda Vonderschmidt-LaStella of Metuchen, and Phyllis Wilkinson of Iselin.

Selected works by local student artists will also be showcased. The artwork will be on display at both the Old Bridge and Perth Amboy medical center locations until June.
