PERTH AMBOY — Soar Into Your Legacy Invites You to Our 1st Scholarship Fundraiser Scholarships will Be Awarded To Help College Bound Students of Perth Amboy High School and the College Of St. Elizabeth in Morristown N.J.

Aracelis Wicks was a former Perth Amboy girl scout, who graduated top 100 of her class from Perth Amboy high School in 2009.She was an active member & volunteer @ Cathedral International, where she served as a summer camp counselor for many years. Her love for teaching was demonstrated as she became a caretaker at JJITC day care, also when she volunteered at the Wilentz School at the College of Parents program. As a worship dancer at Cathedral she was always surrounded by the younger girls where she took under her wings for guidance. She was a student @ The College of St. Elizabeth where she truly started to soar towards her legacy as a teacher, where she was in the classroom teaching since her freshmen year.. She maintained a 4.0 GPA for the three years she studied there, was also on the Dean’s List for 3 years. She was inducted to the CSE education Program in 2012. Her life was suddenly taken away in March of 2012; she was stricken with severe case of diabetes.
