Police Blotter: Drug Arrest On Friday, 19 April 2013

PERTH AMBOY — On Friday, 19 April 2013 members of the Perth Amboy Police Department’s Special Investigations Bureau arrested Guillermo Quirindongo IV, age 24 of Charles Street, Anthony Garcia, age 24 of State Street, and Rosa Miranda age 24 of Oak Street in the area of Jefferson Street and New Brunswick Avenue.

Police recovered a clear plastic sandwich bag that contained approximately (28) grams of raw marijuana inside a vehicle. After a consent search of their vehicle an additional (84) grams of marijuana were recovered.

Guillermo Quirindongo IV was charged with possession of marijuana over 50 grams, possession of over an ounce of marijuana with the intent to distribute, distribution of marijuana within 500 feet of a public park, and within 1000 feet of a school zone.

Anthony Garcia was charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams, possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, possession with intent to distribute marijuana within 500 feet of a public park, and within 1000 feet of a school zone.

Rosa Miranda was charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams, possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, possession with intent to distribute marijuana within 500 feet of a public park, and within 1000 feet of a school zone.

Bail for all three was set by the Honorable Judge Emery Z. Toth at $10,000.00 with no 10% option. A total of $222.00 in cash was also recovered during the investigation. The total street value of the CDS seized is approximately $1,200.00. P.O. Ethan Boyd led the investigation.
