Thomas Mundy Peterson Plaque Dedication — It Happened in Perth Amboy!

PERTH AMBOY (News Release) – Mayor Wilda Diaz and community members were present for the unveiling of the Thomas Mundy Peterson plaque on June 14th at the Thomas Mundy Peterson School, 274 State Street.

The Middlesex County Board of Chosen Freeholders and Middlesex County Cultural and Heritage Commission has announced the continuation of the Historic Marker Project. The Freeholders’ initiative gifts historic markers to local historic sites and communities throughout Middlesex County. The Cultural and Heritage Commission is coordinating the project on behalf of the Freeholders. The markers are handsome 26-inch by 30-inch cast aluminum plaques in black, pre-mounted on 7-foot poles, ready for installation. The Project aims to publicly recognize locations that are significant to the heritage of Middlesex.
