PERTH AMBOY – Council President Joel Pabon was concerned about the status of the addition of names to the Veteran’s Memorial on Sadowksi Parkway.

Pabon said returning when Vets came to get applications to fill out so their names can be added, no forms were available.

At the 6/23/14 Caucus Meeting, Greg Fehrenbach who was the B.A. at that time said, “Funding for engraving names were from donations and there is only $500 left in that account. You need at least $50 for each name. Names are added every other year.”

Pabon said, “We need a way to keep funding this. It’s the least we can do for their sacrifices. We can ask the Marine Corps, VFW’s, for help. Private and individuals can also donate to help in funding for the memorial.”
