FORDS – A scrap metal drive to benefit Boy Scout Troop 53 is being held on October 18, 2014 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. at the Our Lady of Peace Church Annex located on Amboy Avenue, Fords.

Acceptable material:  steel, cast iron, aluminum, copper, tire rims, car parts, appliances, i-beams, radiators, air conditioners, stoves, pipes, fence posts, refrigerators, aluminum siding, bx cable, compressors, electric motors, engine blocks, car and industrial batteries.  A complete list of acceptable material can be located at: http://rockawayrecycling.com/scrap-metal-pictures/
