PERTH AMBOY – 4 year old Lexani Rodriguez along with her mom and other family members handed out pink ribbons to all in attendance at the 10/8/14 City Council Meeting.
Lexani created these ribbons when she heard that her teacher’s grandmother was suffering with breast cancer. Lexi’s mom explained that Lexi was so saddened by this she wanted to bring her teacher’s grandmother home with her. She made the pink ribbons hoping that everyone who received one would wear them in October for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

- PERTH AMBOY – The Girl Scouts led the Council and Audience in the Pledge of Allegiance. They had attended the 10/8/14 Council Meeting to observe and take notes as part as one of their projects to learn about Civic Government.
