Amboy Bank Making Strides Walk

POINT PLEASANT -The fight to end breast cancer starts with a single step. And, “Team Amboy” dedicated thousands of steps and raised $1,845 in donations from friends, family and fellow employees to help make Making Strides Against Breast Cancer (MSABC) event for the American Cancer Society a huge success.

Over 20,000 walkers participated in the October 19 event, raising over $1.12 million. Donations help fight the disease with breast cancer research, information and services, and access to mammograms for women who need them.

“Amboy Bank employees are committed to supporting causes such as Making Strides both in our participation and our generosity. We realize that events such as this help the community fight the hardships of a disease that can affect so many families.” said Greg Scharpf, Senior Vice President and Chief Retail Officer of Amboy Bank.
