PERTH AMBOY - Resident Alison Perez addresses the BOE concerning childcare for her 2 yr. old granddaughter. “I have 4 children. My daughter joined the military. She has a 2 year old daughter. What (childcare facilities) are available for children under 3? She just turned 2. I don’t want to put her in private care. I want to keep her in day care. Perth Amboy has nothing. For everything in her age group there’s a waiting list.” Board Secretary Derek Jess answered, “The BOE has nothing set in place for children under 3.”
