Perth Amboy Catholic School Make a Difference Day ‘Seniors Count’

Perth Amboy Catholic School students made 185 care packages of winter socks, fruit and handmade cards for the Senior residents of the Stack and Hansen Street buildings in Perth Amboy.

PERTH AMBOY – To celebrate National Make a Difference Day on October 25th, 2014, Perth Amboy Catholic School students, under the direction of Art teacher Rose Pennyfeather, made 185 care packages of winter socks, fruit and handmade cards for the Senior residents of the Stack and Hansen Street buildings in Perth Amboy. The project called “Seniors Count” was accepted by the National Make a Difference Day committee. Perth Amboy Catholic School students personally delivered the packages with their parents and Art teacher, Mrs. Pennyfeather to the Seniors and had the approval and support of the Office on Aging, under the direction of Ms. Dianne Roman.
