PERTH AMBOY/SAYREVILLE – Amongst the dignitaries lined up for the ribbon cutting included, Fr. Scott, Sayreville Mayor Kennedy O’Brien, Governor James McGreevy and his wife, Dina, Perth Amboy Mayor Joe Vas, Assemblyman John Wisniewski, representatives from Figg Bridge Engineers, and the George Harms Construction Company and a representative from the Veterans Group. Two elephants walked across the bridge to show the strength of it.
