PERTH AMBOY – Both the William C. McGinnis MIddle School and Peterson are now ready for the staff and students to return on Thursday, January, 15 2015 at the regular school hours. All district schools will be on a normal operating schedule.

Earlier this week, Perth Amboy Public Schools had an important announcement for parents of children that attend William C. McGinnis. THIS MESSAGE IS ONLY FOR PARENTS OF CHILDREN ATTENDING WILLIAM C MCGINNIS SCHOOL.

The William C McGinnis School was closed from Monday, January 12 until Thursday January 15, 2015 for disinfection from Clostridium difficile.

As parents have been previously informed an adult at the school contracted the illness and came to the school with the infection causing the school to become infected.  Children from the McGinnis School were kept out of school during the disinfection.
