PERTH AMBOY – At the 5th Annual Be Smart About Medicine Awards Dinner sponsored by NCADD of Middlesex County, 4 students from Perth Amboy Catholic School were honored as Art winners in the Creative Expression contest.  Ayana Allain took 1st Place in the 7th Grade category, Brian Sanchez received 2nd place and Janitza Aragon won the 3rd place award. Alyssa Sierra took the 3rd place Art Award in the 8th Grade category. The dinner was held on March 19th, 2015 at Middlesex County College, Edison, N.J.

Ms. Linda Surks was the Coalition for Healthy Communities coordinator and the judges were: Paul Grzella, General Manager/Editor, Home News Tribune, Steve Liga, Executive Director & CEO of NCADD of Middlesex County, Inc. and Rachelle Burk, Children’s Author and Entertainer. The contest entries were sent in by Rose Lavin Pennyfeather, Art Teacher, Perth Amboy Catholic School.
