PERTH AMBOY – Stefan Amaya-Fernandez, a 4th Grade student at Perth Amboy Catholic School, was a finalist in The Partnership for a Drug Free New Jersey 4th Grade Folder Art Contest. Stefan’s entry was chosen from among 8000 entries submitted in the “Fun Things to Do Instead of Drugs” Folder Competition.
Only 30 finalists were chosen from the entire state of New Jersey. Stefan was invited with his family and Art teacher. Mrs. Rose Pennyfeather to The Newark Museum for the Award Ceremony on April 29th, 2015. He received a medal, a reproduction of his artwork, a buffet brunch and a tour of The Newark Museum with his family. *Photo Submitted
