Middlesex County Art & Essay Contest

Press Release –
PERTH AMBOY – Three students from Perth Amboy Catholic School were winners in the Middlesex County Divisions of Solid Waste Management & Environmental Health Essay & Art Contests.

Destiny Perez won 1st Place and Kaitlyn Ferreras won 2nd Place in the 6th Grade Environmental Essay Contest Category. Joel Sierra, in the 4th grade, was the 3rd Prize winner in the Environmental Art Contest. His artwork was chosen from among 400 entries in this category.

The Awards were presented to the students at the Middlesex County Courthouse in New Brunswick, N.J. on June 18th at 7p.m. during the meeting of the Middlesex County Freeholders.

The contest entries were sent in by Sr. Rebecca Piatek, Principal of Perth Amboy Catholic School and Art Teacher, Rose Pennyfeather.
