The ZPA Banquet Hall turns gold. The ZPA will be celebrating its 50th Anniversary with an event to be held on Saturday, October 10, 2015.

When the building was purchased in 1965, the small hall was not in existence. A few years later, the building was enlarged and the smaller hall was added along with additional improvements. An added bonus is the large on site parking lot which has spaces for 80 to 90 vehicles. Halls/Room can accommodate groups from as small as 40 guests or as large as 300.

All the halls are tastefully decorated and can be accessorized to accommodate any event. One of the first events held at the ZPA hall was a Millennium of Poland’s Christianity in (966 – 1966). The event was held on June 5, 1966.

Two main halls are on the ground level and are handicapped accessible. Both banquet halls can be used at the same time without either event interfering with each other.

You can be sure that you will receive personalized service.

The menu selections are diverse and will be sure to please all their guests along with competitive prices.

The ZPA honors those of Polish ancestry who have made significant contributions to the community.

The first recipient of Civic Award was George J. Otlowski. He was honored on June 6, 1971 when he was a Freeholder Director. His son, George Otlowski, Jr. was bestowed with the same honor in May 2014.

Events that have been held at the ZPA include: sweet sixteen parties, political events, after funeral repass meals, class reunions, wedding receptions and baby and bridal showers.

Some organizations that have held their events there include the JROTC 30th Anniversary Dinner Dance, the Perth Amboy High School Hall of Fame Inductee Dinner. Perth Amboy Domestic Violence Response Team Comedy Show Fund-raiser just to name a few which was a fund-raiser which played to a packed room.

Recently the ZPA held an appreciation lunch for Perth Amboy City Employees. On July 23, the City of Perth Amboy, the BID and the ZPA teamed up to host a luncheon called, “Not All Heros Wear a Cape.” This appreciation luncheon reconginzed our First Responders. The First Taste of Perth Amboy was held in the ZPA large banquet room (which also has a large adjacent bar). This event was also held in 2014 and will also be repeated this year on October 22 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

A business expo is forthcoming with a date to be announced.

The ZPA is looking to utilize its large parking lot and ground hall floors to possibly hold flea markets on Saturdays.

Some of the future events in discussion include: wedding expos (limos, makeup, music, and photography vendors).

If you are interested in having other vendor events held at the ZPA, please contact them.

The ZPA has the facilities to accommodate small groups  for meetings, presentations, etc. or large groups for dinners, dancing or corporate events. Whatever your needs, the ZPA Banquet Hall will be happy to help. For more information about hall or meeting room rentals, call 732-442-2660 or 732-744-6888 or go to www.zpabanquethalls.com
