Hunger Walk

PERTH AMBOY – The “We Care” Perth Amboy Coalition of Food Pantries in Partnership with the Episcopal Diocese of New Jersey’s “Battle against Hunger” will sponsor a “Hunger Walk” on Saturday, September 19, to benefit the local Pantries that belong to the WE CARE Perth Amboy Coalition.

The walk offers your congregation, organization or Jubilee Center the opportunity to raise funds, raise awareness and build relationships to help fight hunger and its causes in YOUR community.

1. Send a team of walkers and do fund-raising in your community to support your cause through them, or
2. Do fund-raising in your community to support your cause through individual donations. (Individual envelopes will be provided)
3. Donate online- Go to https://www.firstgiving.com/battleagainsthunger/2nd-annual-we-care-walk. Click on the Pantry Team you want support and click on dónate. Be sure to provide all the information they ask for then click. SUBMIT 100% of the funds you raise go to your congregation or the hunger-relief agency or agencies in your community that you choose to support

The Walk will take place on Saturday, September 19th. Registration starts at 9:00 a.m. The walk will commence at 10:00 a.m. and will end when our route is complete

Starts at the Perth Amboy Train Station and take us down the main street in Perth Amboy, to Water St., wind around to High St. and end at Historic St. Peter’s Episcopal Church for light refreshments.
