PERTH AMBOY – Volunteers helped give 100 Preschool children and families in our community a new backpack filled with supplies to enhance learning at home. The YMCA has been collecting Backpacks for boys and girls 3-5, Crayons, Beginner/Fat pencils, PreK – books, Workbooks, Coloring books, Puzzles, Flashcards and more. Volunteers offered their time filling the backpacks at a day of service in honor of 9-11 at the Perth Amboy YMCA on 9/11/15 for the TogetherhoodTM Program.
