PERTH AMBOY – At 12:00 Noon on 9/11/15 the City of Perth Amboy held a ceremony in remembrance of the 14th Anniversary of 9-11-01. Those participating included Mayor Diaz, some Council Members, Freeholder Director Ron Rios, Asm. Craig Coughlin, Members of the Police Chaplain Corps, Local Clergy, Acting Deputy Police Chief Larry Cattano, Fire Chief Abraham Pitre and Members of their Departments.
The Ceremony was held at City Hall Circle. Ron Rios and Mayor Wilda Diaz laid down the wreath at the Memorial etched with the name of Isaias Rivera and Officer Richard Rodriguez who lost their lives at the World Trade Center.
The Wreath Ceremony was immediately followed by a 21 Gun Salute (TAPS) by the Perth Amboy Police Department.
