PERTH AMBOY – Local Artist, Painter, Sculptor, Antique Restorer and Finisher Ricardo Solis will be giving a lecture on the importance of the restoration and preservation of antiques at the Kearny Cottage, 63 Catalpa Ave., Perth Amboy on Sunday, Oct. 25 at 1 p.m. Ricardo was educated at the School of Fine Arts, Lima, Peru, the Academy of Visual Arts, Madrid, Spain, the School of Graphic Arts at El Camino College, Torrance, CA., and the School of Restoration and Water Gilding, Lima Peru. He has restored many private collections, museum and church pieces over the years and will share his experiences and emphasize the importance of restoring antiques.
