PERTH AMBOY – 10/15/15 Caucus Meeting –  R-462 –  Authorizing the submission of an application to the NJ Department of Transportation for the Safe Streets to Transit Grant.

Executive Director Office of Economic and Community Development Perth Amboy Redevelopment Agency Annie Hindenlang stated, “The focal point would be to attract people that are on the train route and to improve pedestrian safety on the streets of Second and Market. We’re putting in an application for the cleanup of the Second Street Park. We’re trying to increase the train ridership and the parking situation for people who have to drive into town.”

Councilman Fernando Irizarry moved it and it was seconded by Councilman Joel Pabon.
