PERTH AMBOY – 12/9/15 Council Meeting – During the public portion, Perth Amboy Republican Chair Sharon Hubberman had 2 concerns.

She stated that she had talked to a resident on Water Street. “There is a live electrical box near the water where children play. This was not in the original part of the Master Plan. Who approved this?”

Her second concern was about the upcoming 2016 elections. “We are supposed to have nonpartisan elections. A lot of elections are run as partisan. We need to draft a resolution to penalize anyone who runs their elections as partisan. We are supposed to follow the Faulkner Act.”

One Council Member said, “The elections are run as nonpartisan. Do you have any proof that this is not so?”

Hubberman answered back, “I have pictures and paraphernalia to support my claims.”
