Don’t fight love
Embrace it
Don’t turn your back
Face it
Love is in the heart
Love is in the mind
Sometimes it is readily seen
Sometimes it is blind
It’s wonderful to have
Even more so to give away
It’s a beacon in the night
The brightest sunlight in the day
It brings tremendous pleasure
Yet also excruciating pain
Devastating to lose
Beautiful to regain
It requires intimacy
Sometimes it needs room
With the proper amount of this and that
It will start to bloom
Treasure it if you have it
If it calls please take help
For if it’s yours in the truest form
Then you are fortunate indeed
