PERTH AMBOY – A Perth Amboy Tradition. FREE concerts showcased in Perth Amboy’s Bayview Park are held every Sunday in July and August. Bring your blankets or lawn chairs for seating. In case of rain, concerts will be held at the William C. McGinnis School, located on 271 State Street, between Smith & Market Streets.

Independence Day Celebration: July 2, Kennedy Park  4 p.m. to 10 p.m., Live Musical Entertainment from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. by Glen Burtnik and Friends, “Summer of Love Concert Tour” Activities all FREE from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. include: Children’s Rides & Games, Food Court, Pony Rides, Hot Dog eating contest and culminating the day’s events a spectacular Fireworks Display starts approximately 9:30 p.m. Rain date: July 3.
