PERTH AMBOY – The Puerto Rican Association for Human Development, Inc. (PRAHD), will once again celebrate its community service for Middlesex, Union and Hudson County’s most vulnerable residents at the 30th Annual Roberto Clemente Gala. This year’s Gala will take place on Friday, October 21, 2016 and we are endeavoring to make it our greatest gala yet.

PRAHD’s Annual Roberto Clemente Gala is an event where the agency’s support network gathers to reflect on PRAHD’s role in the community and to honor a group of extraordinary individuals. The honorees this year are:  Bank of America receiving the Corporate Excellence Award; Ana Maria Zevallos receiving the Goodwill Ambassador Award; James J. Elek receiving the Outstanding Business Leader Award; Partner of the Year Award will be presented to the Northeast Regional Council of Carpenters.  In addition, PRAHD will be presenting the inaugural Roberto Clemente Award to Abraham López— an honor that is representative of Roberto Clemente’s humanitarian legacy.

The 30th Annual Roberto Clemente Gala will feature fine food, top shelf libations, live musical performances and a silent auction table filled to the brim with incredible items including stays at word class resorts in beautiful Puerto Rico. All proceeds collected at the Gala directly support the agency’s mission, programs and overall operations. PRAHD could not exist without your support and the 17,000 children, families and seniors assisted annually directly benefit from your attendance and advocacy.
