PERTH AMBOY – Jordan and Joellee Hernandez will be reading their book “Twin Tales: Sasha and Sophie Go to School” on Saturday, October 1, 2016, at 11 a.m. at the Perth Amboy Free Public Library Children’s Room at 196 Jefferson St. in Perth Amboy.

The book, written by Jordan and Joelle Hernandez and illustrated by Austin Pillar, is the debut book of Happy People Publishing.  In collaboration with Infinity Publishing, the children’s book takes the reader on a First Day of School adventure with twin girls, Sasha and Sophie. This is the first book in the Twin Tales series.  This highly anticipated series is loosely based on the lives of the authors, and is designed to shine a light on the unique bond shared between twins.

This is the first book authored by Jordan and Joelle, identical twins from Hazlet, NJ. They are co-owners of J&J Enterprises, which houses Happy People Publishing and A Double Dose of Entertainment. The twins are sought after radio hosts and speakers specializing in entertainment news and social media and have contributed to numerous publications both in print and online.

Austin Pillar is an illustrator from central New Jersey. He has developed his artistic style through digital art as well as mixed media and collaging. Austin’s personal style consists of minimalism combined with surrealism.

This event, sponsored by the Friends of the Perth Amboy Public Library, is free but recommend parents register their intention to attend so they and their children can be accommodated comfortably.  The book is geared toward children 4 to 7 years of age.  Contact the Friends at (201) 381-1903 or e-mail at friendsofperthamboylibrary@gmail.com.
