You Can Bet It Was Planned That Way

Well I see a home grown terrorist name Ahman Khan Rahami was putting bombs in New Jersey and his father called the FBI two years ago warning them about his son. Then that’s when the FBI put him in their radar. I guess they were watching him carefully on every move he made. Are we any safer then post 9\11? Your guess is as good as mine. I think there’s something wrong going on here. The security system with immigration has failed us at some point. Yes, big brother knows who the bad guy is, but there’s a failure in the system or lack of communication somewhere. So far, we have seen so-called home grown terrorists do their thing lately and we wonder why or how they did it in daylight. Like I said before, right before the election all this terrorist activity is going on and maybe more to come. We hope not. I want you to understand this carefully. I was told by someone who knows the system: “In politics, nothing happens by accident. If it happens, you can bet it was planned that way.”

Loose Lips Sink Ships

The term, “Loose Lips Sink Ships,” originated in World War II. It was printed on posters and hung up in defense plants, on the streets, at the docks …basically everywhere. They were put up to remind people not to talk about things like shipping schedules, types of cargo a ship was carrying, ship destinations… things like that. If the wrong people overheard your conversation you could cause a ship to be sunk, (they were sinking some of them right here off the Jersey coast), and maybe your father, brother, or neighbor could be on that ship. There were a lot of spies loyal to the other side right here in the good old U.S.A. looking for that information. That’s not paranoia or fantasy, it’s fact.

I think they should bring these signs back and put them up in every newsroom and news outlet in the country. The reason I say this is because I was watching a news report on one of the many news stations about the recent bombing in New York City. The commentator asked their resident expert a question that made me scratch my head. It seems that every news station has an expert when it comes to anything. A retired F.B.I. or A.T.F. guy, a top terrorism consultant from the firm of Dewey, Scruem, and Howe, the list goes on and on. The question that the commentator asked of this expert was, “What do you think the police are doing right now to find the person or persons that did this”?

Now the question was bad enough but this guy answered her. He told her what he thought the N.Y.P.D. detectives and counter terrorism division was doing now and will be doing. Evidence they are looking for and where they are likely to find it. Why don’t we just paint these terrorist nudniks a picture? Give them a handbook of how not to get caught.

The “Public’s Right to Know” thing has gotten way out of hand for the sake of ratings. Yes, the public has a right to know a lot of things but not the procedures that law enforcement uses to catch these guys. All “we the public” have to know is, there was a bombing, stay away from a certain area, and we caught the guy. That’s it!

It is/was the consensus of many that this latest terrorist was dumb. Maybe, or maybe he was “dumb like a fox.” If he and his followers are dumb, let’s keep them that way for all our sake.
