Dear Perth Amboy Community,

We are pleased to inform you there will be four debates during this political season. Two will focus on the Board of Education candidates and the other two will revolve around the Mayoral candidates. The first will be held by the Perth Amboy AFT. They will be hosting a Board of Education forum at the Perth Amboy High School on Tuesday, October 18th from 7 pm-9:30 pm.

The next debate will be held by United Messengers of Peace on Monday, October 24th at the Perth Amboy High School from 7 pm-9 pm and will be a Board of Education candidate debate. There will be a section at this debate specific for those who need translations.

The following debate will also be hosted by United Messengers of Peace. This is a Mayoral Debate which will also occur at the Perth Amboy High School from 7 pm-9 pm on October 25, 2016. The moderator for both of the debates by United Messengers of Peace is Professor Dr. Matthew Maddex, Director of Debate, Rutgers University.

The final debate will be hosted by the Amboy Guardian on Thursday, October 27, 2016 and will be moderated by Former Rutgers University Professor Ron Miskoff. They are hosting a Mayoral Debate at Beth Mordecai located at 224 High St. from 7 pm-9 pm.
