PERTH AMBOY – The Service Employees International Union (SEIU) New Jersey State Council, representing 40,000 service workers in the private and public sectors around the state, today announced its endorsement of Wilda Diaz for mayor of Perth Amboy.
“We are proud to support Wilda Diaz for mayor of Perth Amboy because of her record on issues affecting working families,” said Wilfredo Larancuent, Council President, and Co-Manager of the Laundry, Distribution and Food Service Joint Board, Workers United.
“Wilda Diaz understands what needs to be done when it comes to the quality of life and economic issues facing Perth Amboy, and we know she will continue to do what is needed to improve the lives of the women, men and children who live in that great city,” said Kevin Brown, 32BJ Vice President and New Jersey State Director.
