Middlesex County Public Notice

TAKE NOTICE that the County of Middlesex, in accordance with N.J.A.C. 7:36-12 of the Green Acres Regulations, seeks to file an application for a grant with the State of New Jersey, Green Acres Program, for the development of recreational facilities at Perth Amboy Waterfront Park, located at High Street and Washington Street in the City of Perth Amboy.  The grant will allow for the construction of recreation facilities at the Park, including a multi-use field, baseball field and related amenities

Pursuant to N.J.A.C. 7:36-12.2(b), a public hearing to obtain comments on this Green Acres application will be held as follows:

February 16, 2017 at 7pm

Middlesex County Board of Chosen Freeholders Meeting Room

1st Floor – County Administration Building

John F. Kennedy Square

New Brunswick, NJ 08901

All information submitted by the County of Middlesex to the Green Acres Program in support of this application is available for public inspection at the County of Middlesex Office of Parks and Recreation, 1030 River Road, Piscataway, New Jersey 08854, during regular business hours.

The public may speak at the public hearing, or submit written comments to the County, at any time through the close of the public hearing.  Address any written comments to: Mr. Rick Lear, County of Middlesex Office of Parks and Recreation, PO Box 661, New Brunswick, New Jersey, 08903-9968.  Verbal comments may be given at the public hearing.  Each Speaker will have the right to comment once for a period not to exceed five (5) minutes.
