2/6/17 Caucus & 2/8/17 Council Meetings

PERTH AMBOY –  Councilman Fernando Irizarry had concerns about the upcoming festivals for this year. He wanted reports from the Police Department about any incidents that happened. “Photos should have been included, but were not provided. I was hoping to get information requested in the ordinance. The application are supposed to be provided to the Council.”

Business Administrator Adam Cruz explained, “The application goes to the City Clerk and myself.  The Clerk provides them to the Council.”

At the 2/8/17 Council Meeting was when Councilman Jelmin Caba said, “I took offense to comments about the complaints about the Dominican Festival. Most residents enjoyed it. I don’t know if it’s political.”
