Perth Amboy Artworks Hosts Paint and Sip Event

PERTH AMBOY – On Thursday April 6, 2017 from 7-10 p.m. Perth Amboy Artworks will host its first Paint and Sip, where you can enjoy an evening painting nautical sunset scenes. A $35 ticket includes soda, delicious appetizers and desserts, a canvas, paint supplies & art instruction. You can bring your own (BYO) favorite drink to sip. Artist Rachel Wintemberg will be leading the Paint and Sip. Rachel has taught art in the Perth Amboy School District for 28 years. She is 2017 Shull School’s Teacher of the Year. Rachel holds a BFA from Pratt Institute and an MA in studio art from Montclair State University. She has taught art and exhibited extensively throughout the New York Metropolitan area and has also published many articles on the subject of art education.

You must be 21 or over to attend and seating is limited so please reserve your spot in advance. Please purchase tickets for the Paint and Sip online at www.perthamboyartworks.org. The Perth Amboy Artworks Paint and Sip event location is at 289 High St in Perth Amboy. All proceeds will benefit Perth Amboy Artworks 2017 projects including a new mural downtown, live music at the Ferry Slip and a seasonal art bazaar. Perth Amboy Artworks is dedicated to revitalizing Perth Amboy through the Arts!  Come out and enjoy a great evening getting creative.
